In case you have a shared hosting plan with us and you create an e-mail address inside your account, you will be able to forward it with only a couple of mouse clicks to any other e-mail address of your choice. The option can be enabled whenever you set up a new email address or at any time later and deactivated just as easily in case you change your mind. This can be done through the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you will handle your account. You will also have the option to choose if a backup of the incoming messages will stay on our servers or not. The main benefit of this option is that you will always have a backup on your server if anything occurs with the other mailbox or maybe if it is not active for reasons unknown at the time an e-mail message is forwarded. In case the feature not enabled, an email will be received, forwarded and erased from our servers no matter if the remote e-mail address is functioning or not, so it is usually a wise decision for it to be active just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server through us, it will take you a couple of mouse clicks in the Email Manager part of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the e-mail addresses created on our system to a third-party address. In the very same area you will also be able to observe how many of your email addresses are forwarded and where the inbound messages are sent. It is easy to activate or deactivate a forwarding account whenever you want and throughout the process you may as well choose if a copy of the e-mails should be maintained on our servers or not. Although this feature is not a necessity, it's valuable since you will have a backup of the emails on our end in case that anything occurs with the third-party mailbox. Even if they've got only a momentary issue, you risk losing email messages as once our system receives and forwards an email, nothing will be stored on our end unless you chosen a copy to be saved.
