Spam Filters in Shared Hosting
Our shared hosting servers rely on one of the best spam filters available on the market. It is called SpamAssassin and is offered with every cloud hosting package, so in case you host your domains with us, you can pick one of the five levels of protection that the anti-spam filter offers for any mailbox that you’ve got here. You can do this with just 2 mouse clicks from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel that’s used to manage all shared accounts. SpamAssassin ‘scans’ the header and the content of each email, calculates a spam score and then proceeds in accordance with the level that you have picked. Every mailbox can have a different level and you can select if the messages that the filter reports as spam should be erased or delivered to another email address where you can review them later, so as to avoid erasing a genuine email. Changing the level or deactivating the anti-spam protection is also quite easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you create one or more email addresses with any of the domains hosted in your account, you will be able to enable the advanced, five-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer and keep all undesirable emails away from your inbox. This service is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel and it can be enabled or disabled for any mailbox whenever you like. You can also fine-tune the level of safety with a couple of mouse clicks if unsolicited bulk email messages continue to appear in your inbox or the email filter begins removing authentic email messages. Since you can choose if the spam should be erased straight away or delivered to some other mailbox, you can set up email@example.com, for example, and view all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss an email message that you need. The messages that the filter allows to proceed will still appear in your inbox.
